Superstar Rajinikanth continues to dominate the box office with his latest release Jailer 2. While the film is reportedly creating a strong impact in theatres, an exciting update about his next project, Dharman, has now become a major talking point in the film industry.

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, known for films such as Oh My Kadavule and Dragon, Dharman is one of the most anticipated projects in Rajinikanth's upcoming lineup. The film has generated considerable interest since its announcement, with audiences eager to see the director's collaboration with the superstar.

According to industry reports, the film's digital rights have reportedly fetched a whopping Rs 150 crore. Legendary actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan is producing the project under his banner, Raaj Kamal Films International. Reports suggest that the digital rights of Dharman were sold to JioHotstar as part of a bundled deal involving two other projects. However, Rajinikanth's film is said to have secured the highest valuation in the package.

If the reported deal is confirmed, it would mark a significant pre-release digital business achievement for a Tamil film.

The project also boasts an impressive cast. Telugu actor Ram Pothineni is reportedly playing a powerful antagonist opposite Rajinikanth. Their face-off sequences are expected to be among the major highlights of the film.

Nayanthara, Raashi Khanna and Sreeleela are also said to be playing important roles. Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is composing the soundtrack, marking another collaboration with Rajinikanth after successful albums for films such as Petta, Darbar and Jailer.

With a promising cast, an acclaimed director and Anirudh's music, Dharman has already generated significant expectations. The reported Rs 150 crore OTT deal has further added to the excitement surrounding the project.
