Nani and director Srikanth Odela's upcoming film The Paradise has reportedly sparked controversy following the completion of its censor certification process. According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) raised objections to several scenes and dialogues, citing concerns over political references, strong criticism of the system, and intense violence.

The board is said to have ordered as many as 21 modifications, including the removal and replacement of certain scenes. Apart from political content, the CBFC reportedly focused on sequences featuring graphic violence and bloodshed. Following the mandated changes, the film's final runtime has been locked at 2 hours and 54 minutes.

The extensive cuts have drawn attention to the film's reportedly bold portrayal of social realities. The period action drama is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 24, with industry observers closely watching its potential impact both politically and at the box office.

Despite facing multiple censor-related hurdles, The Paradise has witnessed a strong response in advance bookings. Reuniting Nani and Srikanth Odela after the success of Dasara, the raw and rustic action drama has generated significant buzz among moviegoers.

Advance bookings in the Nizam region reportedly opened to an overwhelming response, with tickets selling rapidly across platforms such as BookMyShow and District. Trade circles claim that more than 25,000 tickets were sold within the first hour of bookings going live on the two platforms combined.

With bookings yet to fully open across Andhra Pradesh, the Ceded region, and overseas markets, industry trackers expect the film to continue its strong momentum. Set against the backdrop of a slum and featuring a period crime-drama narrative, The Paradise is widely expected to deliver one of the biggest openings of Nani's career.
