Anirudh And Kavya Maran’s Wedding Plans Draw Attention Over Invitation Costs
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) owner Kavya Maran are reportedly set to tie the knot, with news about their wedding preparations attracting considerable attention.
According to reports, the wedding celebrations are expected to take place in Greece on November 10 and 11 in the presence of family members and close friends. This will reportedly be followed by a grand reception in Chennai on November 21, attended by prominent personalities from the film, political and business sectors. There are also reports that high-profile dignitaries, including the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers, may attend the reception.
Meanwhile, one particular detail from the wedding preparations has sparked considerable discussion on social media: the cost of the wedding invitations. Reports suggest that approximately Rs. 20,000 has been spent on each invitation card.
Given the immense wealth and business empire of the Kalanithi Maran family, many netizens have commented that such an expense may not be significant for them. The reported cost has also prompted comparisons with the amount ordinary families typically spend on wedding invitations, triggering varied reactions online.
