Prabhas Spirit: Ranbir Helped Vanga Secure Diwali 2027 Release Date

Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently announced that his upcoming film Spirit, starring Prabhas in the lead role, will release in theatres on October 29, 2027. The announcement sparked discussions on social media, as Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana 2 was also expected to arrive around the same period.

The possibility of a box office clash between the two films caught the attention of movie buffs, especially given the close friendship between Ranbir and Vanga following their collaboration on Animal.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Ranbir reportedly informed Vanga about the postponement of Ramayana 2, allowing the director to secure the Diwali 2027 release window before other filmmakers could claim the date.

The report stated that Ranbir contacted Vanga soon after learning about the delay. Grateful for the early information, Vanga quickly decided to schedule Spirit for Diwali 2027. Producer Bhushan Kumar reportedly agreed with the decision, following which the makers officially announced the release date.

With Spirit now set to arrive during the festive season, audiences will be keen to see how the Prabhas starrer performs at the box office. However, the film's eventual competition will depend on the release plans of other major productions.
