Ravi Teja's Irumudi Sets Netflix Premiere for September 18
Shiva Nirvana’s father-daughter drama will stream in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam following its theatrical run.

Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is heading to streaming less than a month after its theatrical debut. Netflix has confirmed that the film will begin streaming on September 18, 2026, with Telugu as well as Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions available.
The announcement makes the film accessible to Telugu audiences in the United States and Canada who missed its theatrical run, subject to Netflix’s regional availability. Netflix already has an official title page for Irumudi, describing the film as a thriller centered on a father whose daughter’s request leads him into a spiritual undertaking that tests his commitment to family and faith.
Irumudi opened in theaters on August 21. The film was directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, with T-Series Films presenting the project. G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the music.
Ravi Teja leads the film alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar and child actor Nakshathra. Mythri Movie Makers’ official credits also list Vishnu Sharma as cinematographer and Prawin Pudi as editor.
The September 18 Netflix debut now gives Irumudi a quick transition from theaters to OTT while expanding its reach beyond the Telugu theatrical market. For North American viewers, the availability of multiple Indian-language versions should also broaden the film’s streaming audience.
