The makers of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited pan-India film Ranabaali have officially confirmed that the movie will hit theatres on October 16, putting an end to recent speculation about a possible postponement.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, who earlier delivered the hit Taxiwaala with Vijay Deverakonda, the period action drama is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, with T-Series presenting the project.

Along with the release date announcement, the team unveiled a powerful new poster featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the role of a fierce warrior. Sporting a heroic look and a warrior’s mark on his forehead, the actor appears ready to fight for his land and people, drawing praise from fans on social media.

Set against the backdrop of British rule in the 19th century, Ranabaali is said to be inspired by historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878. The film is being mounted on a grand scale as a period action spectacle.

The recently released lyrical song Yendayya Saami has already emerged as a chartbuster, with Vijay and Rashmika’s on-screen chemistry further raising expectations for the film.

The makers are expected to unveil the remaining songs and the trailer in the coming weeks. With the release date now locked for the Vijayadashami festive season, excitement among Vijay Deverakonda fans has reached a new high.
