The Telugu pre-release event of Ramayana was held in Hyderabad in the presence of the film's cast and crew. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on November 5, 2026. Addressing the audience at the event, Yash urged viewers to watch the film with an open mind rather than focus on minor visual effects flaws.

Yash requested audiences not to nitpick the visual effects and appreciate the team's efforts. He stressed the importance of supporting people like producer Namit Malhotra, who has invested significant time and effort in bringing the ambitious project to life.

He said that losing people like Malhotra could set Indian cinema back by several years. Yash also acknowledged that Malhotra had always been receptive to criticism and corrections and had worked towards delivering the best possible output.

Appealing to fans across the country, Yash called on audiences from the Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi film industries to come together in support of Indian cinema.

He said that if audiences liked the film, they should unite to help take Indian cinema to a global audience.
