KGF Actress Srinidhi Shetty Breaks Silence On Remuneration Buzz
It is common for actors and actresses to hike their remuneration after delivering a hit film. In particular, actresses are often reported to double their fees following a successful project. Now, there are rumours that Srinidhi Shetty, who gained pan India recognition with the blockbuster KGF franchise opposite Yash, has also increased her remuneration. Reports circulating online claim that she is demanding Rs 7 crore to Rs 8 crore per film.
However, netizens have expressed surprise at the reported fee, pointing out that Srinidhi has acted in only a handful of films. In Telugu cinema, she has appeared in only two films since her breakthrough success, prompting many to question whether she is really demanding Rs 8 crore per project.
Srinidhi has now responded to the reports about her alleged hefty remuneration. She dismissed them as baseless, saying that she is not in a position to demand such a huge amount. The actress questioned how she could ask for such a high fee when she had acted in only a limited number of films so far.
She added that if earning money were her primary goal, she would have completed at least 20 films by now. For her, earning recognition as an actress is more important than money. She also explained that her decision to be selective about projects, despite achieving pan India success, stems from her desire to choose the right stories.
Srinidhi made it clear that she gives priority to films with strong content and substantial roles for her. She said she would rather be part of good projects, even if they offer lower remuneration, putting an end to the rumours about her fees.
Currently, Srinidhi is acting opposite Venkatesh in Aadarsha Kutumbam. The film was originally scheduled for release earlier but was postponed due to certain reasons. The makers are expected to announce the new release date officially soon. It remains to be seen what kind of success Srinidhi will achieve with this film.
