Despite its impressive reported earnings, production house Sun Pictures has not been releasing box office collection posters regularly. The makers shared the first collection update about a week after the film's release, leaving fans curious about the lack of frequent announcements.
Rajinikanth's public relations officer Riaz recently addressed the issue during an interview. He explained that the actor does not place much importance on publicising box office figures.
According to Riaz, Rajinikanth prioritises the satisfaction of actors, producers, distributors and audiences over collection numbers. He also noted that the superstar neither encourages inflated box office claims nor insists that producers announce earnings immediately.
The explanation sheds light on Rajinikanth's reported approach to box office publicity, even as Jailer 2 continues to attract attention for its commercial performance.
