Fauzi and Kalki 2: Prabhas Plans Back-to-Back Shooting Wraps

Prabhas' Busy Schedule: Pan-India star Prabhas is gearing up for a hectic shooting schedule as he works on two ambitious projects, Fauzi and Kalki 2. Both films are approaching crucial production deadlines, with the actor aiming to complete their shooting schedules within the next few months.

On Prabhas' birthday last month, the makers of Fauzi announced that the film would release on March 19, 2027, instead of its earlier scheduled December 2026 release. With the release pushed back by three months, the team is now working towards completing the film's production without further delays.

According to industry sources, Fauzi remains Prabhas' immediate priority. The actor is reportedly planning to wrap up the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial by December before shifting his full attention to Kalki 2.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has already resumed shooting for Nag Ashwin's ambitious science fiction sequel, which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. However, his dates for the film are being adjusted to accommodate the remaining portions of Fauzi.

Nag Ashwin is reportedly aiming to complete the shooting of Kalki 2 by March 31. Given the extensive visual effects and lengthy post production work involved, the director wants to finish filming at the earliest.

Coordinating the schedules of several prominent actors is also said to be a major challenge for the production team.

With Fauzi targeting a December wrap and Kalki 2 aiming for completion by the end of March, Prabhas has a demanding schedule ahead as he works to finish both big budget projects.
