Buchi Babu Sana Compares Vijay Deverakonda’s Stardom To Pawan Kalyan

Director Buchi Babu Sana has set social media abuzz with a big statement on Vijay Deverakonda’s stardom. Speaking at the pre-release event of Ranabaali, he boldly compared the actor’s star power to that of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, leaving the audience cheering loudly.Recalling an interesting incident from the sets of Geetha Govindam, Buchi Babu Sana shared an anecdote about Vijay Deverakonda’s popularity among female students. He said an assistant director who worked on both Geetha Govindam and his film Uppena had narrated the incident to him.

According to Buchi Babu Sana, the incident took place while Geetha Govindam was being filmed at a private college in Hyderabad. The college management reportedly had to lock the classroom doors as female students were getting excited over Vijay Deverakonda’s presence. This happened around the time his film Arjun Reddy was released.

Emphasising Vijay’s star status, Buchi Babu Sana said that a star remains a star regardless of circumstances. He added that Vijay enjoys a level of stardom comparable to Pawan Kalyan.
