The makers of Polimera 3 have revealed the name of Arjun Sarja’s character, Viraavi, marking the actor’s birthday on August 15 with a new pre-look poster. A full first look featuring Arjun is expected to be unveiled soon, although the team has not announced a date for it.

The poster keeps Arjun’s complete appearance under wraps, instead focusing on his muscular arm. Tattoos depicting Lord Shiva’s trident and Lord Vishnu’s Sudarshana Chakra form the key visual elements, offering the first clues about the mysterious character he will play in the supernatural thriller.

Arjun’s involvement in the third film was announced when Polimera 3 was formally launched in Hyderabad on July 27, 2026. At the time, the makers described his part as pivotal to the new installment.

Director Anil Vishwanath, who made the first two films, is returning for the third chapter. The project is being mounted under Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, with Vamsi Nandipati and Janhvi Narang named as producers in the latest publicity material.

The franchise began with Maa Oori Polimera in 2021. That film premiered directly on streaming and built an audience for its mix of rural mystery, black magic and suspense. Its follow-up, Maa Oori Polimera 2, moved the franchise to theaters in 2023 and became a commercial success, paving the way for a third installment on a larger scale.

Satyam Rajesh returns as Komaraiah, while Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Getup Srinu, Baladitya and Rakendu Mouli are also part of the cast. According to the makers, Polimera 3 will deepen the franchise’s supernatural mythology and introduce new mysteries and revelations. Those descriptions remain promotional claims at this stage, with plot details still being kept under wraps.
