Ramayana Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5, 2026, coinciding with the Diwali festive season. While the makers had earlier announced Diwali 2027 as the release window for the second instalment, a report by Bollywood Hungama suggests that Ramayana Part Two may now arrive in Diwali 2028.

According to the report, the delay is linked to the extensive work involved in designing the action sequences. Producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari reportedly want to create original and ambitious action set pieces that can appeal to audiences worldwide.

The report further stated that Malhotra is committed to presenting the Indian epic on a global scale and is willing to invest the time and resources required to realise his vision. The production team is said to be planning a larger scale for the second instalment.

Ramayana Part Two is expected to feature the epic's central war sequences, which reportedly require additional shooting time and extensive production work. This could be one of the key reasons behind the possible postponement.

The report also suggests that the makers may reveal the revised release date during the end credits of Ramayana Part One. However, an official confirmation regarding the reported delay is still awaited.
