The National Highways Authority of India is moving toward Multi-Lane Free Flow, or MLFF, tolling, which allows vehicles to travel through toll points without stopping. FASTag RFID readers, Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras and AI-based systems identify vehicles and process payments while traffic continues moving.
